Senda Verde Foyoso. PR-AS 242 | Aller Turismo

The route starts in the town of Felechosa, from where we leave in the direction of the bridge that crosses the Braña river. The path traces a comfortable route with little slope, a nice walk between meadows and deciduous forest, popularly known as El Foyoso. The route ends at the bridge over the Valmartín river, which we will have to cross to reach our goal: the Molín de Peón. Once across the bridge, we soon see on the left side of the road a recreational area, where we can take a break to regain strength. From this point we can see the Molín de Peón, a trout hatchery and hatching center managed by the El Maravayu Fishermen¿s Association. This construction was built at the end of the 19th century to serve as a mill and fulling mill. It later became a mini-hydroelectric plant until it was closed in the 1950s. The return to Felechosa can be done by crossing the town of El Pino and taking the royal road, which leads back to the starting point.
