L.lamas-Yanos PR-AS 264
Description
This hiking route links the villages of L.lamas and Yanos through a path that runs along the slopes of the mountain range of La Zorra. We start from the village of L.lamas, where we find the Romanesque church of San Juan el Real, declared of Cultural Interest. Its construction corresponds to the XIII-XIV centuries, although its foundation was prior to this date. The protagonists of this itinerary are the splendid native forest, which appears on numerous occasions along the way, and the beauty of the “majadas”, ‘brañas’ and “caserías” that are found along the way. We cross the town of L.lamas in an easterly direction and begin a slight ascent along a forest track, which takes us to the sheepfold of La L.laguna. We continue the way up the Quentu Baldumira to the sheepfold of El Praón. We continue the ascent, which takes us through Picolaína, and soon we are immersed in the mountain Les Porqueres, whose arboreal mass accompanies us on the road. We continue until we reach La Forcá and begin to descend continuously, passing by the farmhouses of La Casa'l Medio and Muries. In this place we find a crossroads, where we take the one on the left, which takes us directly to Yanos. In a short time we will contemplate the San Isidro riverbed, which we will cross by a bridge that gives access to the town where our itinerary ends.
