ETAPA 4 DEL ANILLO CICLISTA DE LA MONTAÑA CENTRAL: SOTIELLO (Lena) – SANTIBANES DE MURIAS (Aller)
Description
The section from Sotiello to Fierros (9.2 km) begins with a predominance of asphalt, small stretches, from Sotiello to the detour to take the track that goes up to Bendueños, and from Bendueños to Erías, a route of about 1,220 m.
The rest of the road surfaces are traditional tracks and paths, although there are several sections that show significant deterioration and are difficult to cycle due to vegetative flooding of the infrastructure boxes.
Up to Portillín de La Boya (12 km) there are wide and compacted pavements, which were used until not long ago for mining traffic, and finally up to Santibanes de Murias (9.5 km) through a route of wide tracks with good pavements made of compacted earth, with asphalt from the bed of the Río Negro to the ALL-3 and continuing to the town of Santibanes de Murias.
