El pingarón de la mornera PR -AS 312
Description
The route begins at the Puente la Muñeca, at the Moyás fountain in Cuevas. After about a kilometer we reach the Felechosa fish farm and the junction of the Cuervo and San Isidro rivers. After another kilometer, we reach the junction with the cattle track that comes from Felechosa and goes up to Las Murias and El Cebarón and we turn right following it.
When we walk a little and face the walls of the Allerano slopes of Retriñón, La Muezca and La Tabierna, we will see the pingarón in the distance. We continue and arrive at the cabins of La Calavera (a sign informs us where we are).
We continue climbing and we see a sign on a stone that tells us that we are in Las Murias passing over a bridge and from which we leave to the right. We continue and see a cabin, La Mornera D'Abaxo, which we access through a porthole and continue leaving the cabin of La Mornera, below us.
And a few meters above (this is already uphill, uphill) and we see the bottom of Pinganón de La Mornera, whose base is 950 meters above sea level. We continue uphill walking very steep and difficult and we find a path and a step that allows us to go out to a projection of the side cliff that hides the fall of the source of the other Pingarón de la Mornera from a kind of viewpoint, whose fall must be more than a hundred meters. This pinganín is on the slopes of Retriñón, La Muezca and La Tabierna. We follow the path through the Paso del Escuyu de Zarréu reaching Las Murias. Look for the track at the height of La Coollá Cebarón, take a track towards Murias and down Camín towards La Priealiega linking with the Murias track descending along the track, you reach the Puente La Muñeca and the end of the route which is in Cuevas.
